Meeting began at 713 pm. Announcements: Introduced Nicole, working for the Grassroots Campaign, Inc., which is looking for graduating seniors to join them in their work. What is the ACLU?

"The ACLU is our nation's guardian of liberty, working daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country." - ACLU website

Berkeley ACLU is the University of California, Berkeley student-run club that seeks to achieve these goals on a more grassroots level with the students of Berkeley who are known for their spirit of advocacy and their belief in the importance of liberties and freedoms.
